The coffee table that lets magazines disappear at a touch of a hand
Everyone is familiar with the chaos you encounter on the coffee table in your living room or at the office. The selection of notebooks, diaries, daily press and tabloids all need to be put away into shelves, drawers, workrooms or bags and this requires time. This is impractical, especially if you want to leave the impression of a neat host in a case of an unannounced visit or if you are trying to quickly create a surface to place your wine glasses while the moment still lasts. Maybe you’re trying to find a quick way to give the little ones something to do? Turn the main drop off surface for loose items into a functional play surface and then catch a moment of peace, lean back in your chair and kick your feet up on the Mag Rack table. We’ll keep it between us that you shoved the last few things into the slot using your foot. With just one swift movement of your hand (or foot), the mess disappears in the slots of this practical table.
Mag Rack Table Series consists of 6 models. Mag-Ander, Mag-Double, Mag-Double-D, Mag-Impulse, Mag-Small and Mag-One. After a year of working on prototypes we decided to launch two models "MAG-Impulse" and "MAG-Ander". The Mag Rack Tables are made of high quality materials selected for durability. Prototypes were developed in cooperation with the institute for woodwork at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
Awards and exhibitions
Mag Rack Table Series was chosen to represent Austrian design at various exhibitions.
Stilwerk: First model "Mag-Impuls" was presented at „Stilwerk, Vienna“, in the beautiful space of the building designed by the famous French architect Jean Nouvell.
Dutch Design Week: Together with 27 Austrian designers, "Mag-Ander" was chosen to present Austrian design at the Dutch Design Week named "Suprisingly Ingenious!".
Novum Buche: Mag Rack Table Series was nominated for a prize at the design competition „novum buche“ in Austria.
FFG: Development of prototypes was supported by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency with an innovation cheque 2013.
Go International: Austrian Chamber of Economics is supporting our international presence.
Die Angewandte: Prototypes were developed in cooperation with the institute for woodwork at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
Prague Designblock: Together with Austrian designers, "Mag-Impuls" was chosen to present Austrian design at the Prague Designblock in October 2014.

Handcrafted in Croatia - designed in Austria
After producing prototypes in local workshops we searched for the optimal manufacturer in countries of middle Europe that could meet our criteria. We also ensured the manufacturer is located close enough to enable an optimal and personal cooperation and quality control. Our choice was a well known and reputable croatian manufacturer “Gala Drvo” . Croatia is a new European Union member and has very good craftsmen that are already producing goods for international projects. This producer convinced us with his competence and engagement at work on further prototypes. “Gala Drvo” was already known for precision of manufacturing, high quality of finished products and business reliability making them an obvious choice.

We are architects and our effort is to design environment or pieces of environment that meet the needs of the modern lifestyle. We accomplish this by taking into consideration the emotional, technical and social aspects of the challenge. Our engagement ranges across city planning, architecture and design. In addition to over one hundred architectural projects in the last 14 years in countries of middle and southern Europe we have also been designing objects implemented as a parts of interior design.
